KIRTAN WITH KRIPA

SATURDAY, JUNE 15, 2019,  7:30 – 9:30 PM

Kripa is a new band born out of the love of Ram Dass, Neem Karoli Baba, and Hanuman. This upcoming kirtan tour aims to spread their timeless teachings of “Love, Serve, Remember.” In partnership with the Call and Response Foundation, they will be visiting several prisons as part of a west-coast tour, ensuring that these teachings and practices reach those who need it most.

Scott Hari Whitmore, Sitaram Dass and Muid Bushnell have all served as caregivers for Ram Dass, and now they share the Dharma through activism, kirtan, workshops, teachings and writings. They are kirtan leaders, story tellers, multi-instrumentalists, recording artists, and touring musicians contributing their unique gifts to this collective project. Carl Golembeski is a long-time student of Ram Dass and a professional audio engineer and sound artist.

Sitaram Dass regularly visits and leads kirtan in the Bay area, and he is excited to join forces with Mu, Scott, and Carl for this west-coast tour.
